NOVEMBER DIVE
Some say the act of putting down words
is a leap of faith, a sacred deed
where you try to meet your maker on the page.
Whether you believe it or not,
it still must feel good
to just let the words fall,
from your head, your heart,
creating pools on the page,
deep enough for you to feel
what it means to get wet.

Happy Writing Nanos! How is your Nanwrimo experience so far?
November is going great. I cracked 10,000 words on day 4.
ReplyDeleteI do find that photo a bit disturbing though as I ponder what will happen in about half a second's time. Perhaps it's a mirage projected on an even larger pool!
That's great! Yeah, it is a freaky shot but with equal parts of wonder and fear...kinda like writing :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't kept up the last couple of days, but I'm hoping to make up the slack before it gets worse!

Sure you can Debbie, I'm cheering for ya!
ReplyDeleteI've been working on editing my NaNo draft from last year. Not doing any word counts, but just giving it a concentrated effort this month.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Barb - stay strong!
